Introducing owners to the concept and act of maintaining their own horses’ hoofs. The course is not aimed professionals nor persons wishing to become professional trimmers although their participation is welcome. It does not replace hands-on experience nor does it offer owners, or practitioners, any qualification to trim horses’ hoofs – see below – but is intended to give pointers in observation and technique used for the trimming and maintenance of fundamentally healthy hoofs.
