L'institut @ Sabots Libres reserves the right to retain student data for the entire period the student is subscribed to any courses offered. The completion of a course does not entail automatic unsubscription — the student retains access to the course material for the duration of the subscription.

No student-specific data is used outside the scheme of assessment for the courses to which the student has subscribed and for limited dissemination of informative emails exclusively by Sabots Libres. At no time does Sabot Libres or L'institut share personal student data with any other organization unless with the express permission of the student. Some anonymized information may be used in statistics gathering but there is absolutely no link to any specific student or subscription.

Only those details provided by the student at enrolment are retained for the duration of the student's enrolment with the addition of submitted coursework and any possible grades associated with any past or present courses that the student has participated or is participating in. 

If the student requests the complete deletion of records, this will be done within the technical time limit but will entail a complete loss of all data and records. L'institut cannot, and will not attempt to, retrieve any data deleted in this fashion.

Retention of basic student data is part of the integrity of the courses offered and L'institut would normally expect that this data can be retained even after completion of all the courses in which the student wishes to partake.

Student specific data are never shared with third parties; anonymized, thus untraceable, statistical data may be used for course evaluation
